For this edition of project paper cup, we will take a look at yogurt paper cups. Yogurt is one of the healthier desserts out there. Its taste may not be popular with some kids and can take some getting used to at first, but its health benefits make it worth the effort. Yogurt is good for digestion and it is also rich in protein, calcium, and riboflavin, as well as vitamins B6 and B12.
Yogurt paper cups are special paper cups made especially for enjoying – you guessed it, yogurt. For this project, we will be using a little art to brighten up what would otherwise be just a white, generic paper cup. This project is super easy, super fun and super educational too. Aside from enhancing creativity by using our imagination, it also reminds us about the value of being eco-friendly.
Before dessert time, gather your kids and have them bring out their preferred art supplies. Bring out your unused yogurt paper cups. Using a clean strip of plastic, cover the opening to make sure whatever art supplies you use don’t get inside the yogurt paper cup. If you are using the lid, just cover the opening on the lid. Now, here comes the easy part. Hand the covered yogurt paper cups to your kids and let the creativity run wild! If you use some paint to decorate the cups, make sure you let the yogurt paper cup dry first before putting in the yogurt. This activity is a great way to encourage your kids to try a healthy dessert like yogurt. Of course, it’s also a great way to bond! The next time you’re eating yogurt with the kids, make sure it is served on eco-friendly yogurt paper cups and make sure you take time out to have fun with it.
